Beautifully designed in classic Balinese-style, the villa features timber pillars, high serap wood ceilings, garden bathrooms, traditional artefacts, a free-form swimming pool and lush tropical surrounds, home to a myriad of exotic plants and birdlife (you may even see a cockatoo).Kakatua, which means cockatoo, is a gem of a villa for those seeking a Balinese private retreat in the centre of the action, at an affordable price. Capacity:8 people (4 bedrooms: 1 with king-size beds; 2 with queen-size beds; 1 with an extra large antique four-poster bed containing 2 double mattresses). 2 more guests can be accommodated for an additional charge. Capacity extends to 14-16 if booked in conjunction with neighbouring 3-bedroom Villa Kedidi.
Living areas: Open-sided living and dining pavilion; poolside bale.
Pool: 12m x 5m. 1.27m-1.76m depth. 1 set of pool fence is provided by the villa (extra charge).
Staff: (Shared with Villa Kedidi) villa manager; cooks; housekeepers; gardeners; guards providing 24-hour security. Masseuse and babysitter on request.
Complimentary WiFi broadband internet access, telephone available for local calls. IDD on request.

The villa is well suited for adults and groups of friends due to its proximity to clubs and restaurants. Families with young adults may also enjoy the vibrant surroundings, pool toys and DVDs. Its central location may not be suitable for those seeking serenity and solitude.
Dining: Western, Asian, vegetarian and children´s menu. Requests accommodated (including special diets). Grocery cost is charged 20% handling fee which is subject to service and tax at the prevailing rate.
